This online course will help you prepare for the Grade T1 & T2 operator exams. Topics covered include: defining a public water system, source waters, drinking water chemistry, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, using chemical feed pumps, disinfection, contact time, pumps & motors, regulations, corrosion control, iron & manganese removal, water softening, & water quality testing methods.
NOTE: This review class does not meet the requirements set by the Massachusetts Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Facilities to sit for the T2 exam. However, it is a great resource for those in MA who wish to take the T1 exam or who have already taken a full T2 course and would like to get a refresher before they sit for the T2 exam. All other New England states do not have training requirements to sit for the certification exams, so this course will help prepare you to pass the T1 & T2 exams.
